YOU HAIRY BEAST

1. Just how hairy are you? Do you desire more or less and where?

I'm moderately hairy and getting more so with age. I have just the right amount on my arms, legs and chest and since the summer (a very weird time to grow a beard) a full beard which has gotten some great results. The hair on my head has never really done what I wanted it to do but it's still there and that's fine by me! The fun thing about my hair are all the colors - my arms and legs are very blond, my chest is black, my beard is auburn and my head (which was platinum blond until I was 12) is now Preference by Loreal 9G - other than a lot of gray, I don't know my true color anymore. I like the hair that I have and don't desire anymore - "You hear that back, ass and ears?!"

2. Your friend post's a pic of you when you were 25, what year is it and what does your hair look like?

I was in grad school and if I remember correctly, it was pretty much the same as now only a bit fuller and with a little less forehead.

3. What do you have to do and how long does it take you to make your hair look the way it does?

Most of the time I just wash, run my fingers through it and go. Now that it's been colder, I'll blow it dry before going out. I'm missing the gay-hair-product gene and can never use them properly. About once a month I breakout the Preference which takes about 30 mins.

4. What was the most you ever paid for a haircut?

Almost $100! and it was the last time. I had been going to Beth since moving to DC and had referred at least 10 guys and an ex to her. My cuts were usually about $35 but this time I asked for color AND highlights. It didn't turn out quite right so she did another process and I was more than shocked at the bill. Now I go the local barber (there are no gay hair salons anywhere near me) and pay $8 for the cut which includes shaving the back of my neck and $12 for the tip.

5. Do you manscape?

I occasionally trim the pubs and shave the boys - I'm not a dentist so I don't think I should be flossing a guy's teeth when he's giving me a blow job.

6. Men with beards are?

Just as hot as clean-shaven men but definitely the new trend! I do like the beard to be well groomed and some men look way hotter with while some look hotter without. One of my ex's would change his look every time I saw him. It was like dating someone new every week.

7. What hair on a man affects your libido most?

Without question it is that peak of hair you see when his shirt lifts up. When we sit on the couch or lay in bed, I love to put my hand there and just gently brush it. Of course, those wisps of hair must lead to a nicely carpeted chest.

1. In Coincidence?

Yes. To not believe in coincidence is to believe in fate or a predetermined future and I don't believe in a predetermined future.

2. In Magic?

Yes. Not in the sense of Harry, Samantha or Jeannie but in slight of had, that spark when you touch another's hand or waves rolling into shore at sunrise.

I JUST WANNA GO TO SLEEP:
1. What do you wear to bed?

I'm like a furnace at night so I like to be cool, usually just a t-shirt and undies. I would sleep naked but don't think it's very hygienic and with two dogs, many nights I have to get up and take them out.

2. Lots of blankets or just one?

I love to be under lots of blankets and the heavier the better but the room has to be cold so usually it's only one. Even during the summer, I'm most comfortable when I'm wrapped in at least a sheet.

3. Do you like a cold room or a hot room?

I love a cold room and usually have a window open all winter. During the summer I have to crank the AC down as low as possible otherwise I get all sweaty.

4. Who or what sleeps with you at night?

I sleep with my two doggies - Truvy and Tramp - and they like to sleep with me in the middle.

5. Do you hog the blankets?

I like to wrap the blankets around my legs but once I'm settled, I don't hog them and am very good to sleep with (or so I've been told) - especially if you get cold at night. Having Truvy and Tramp sleep with me they tend to sleep on the blankets and once they're down for the night, they're out and they make it very hard for me to get under the blankets or out from under them.

6. What size is your bed and what kind of mattress is it?

I have a queen size and it's a memory foam (but not Tepurpedic.)

7. Do you eat in bed?

Yes, food, and then some.

8. What kind of sleeper are you?

I have a difficult time falling asleep at night but once asleep, I'm a very deep sleeper, so deep that I only remember dreams about once a month. If I'm traveling I'm more likely to fall asleep before the plane or train takes off which is why I always take the window seat - something to lean on.

9. What is under your bed?

Lot's of dust and dog hair and probably a few doggie toys. Both Truvy and Tramp love sleeping under the bed so I keep it clear for them.

I love it when I'm in a relationship and loath it when I'm not.

Yes. When I first started dating, I was limited in my creativity but as the years went by and I got to witness other couples, I got better but still have a lot to learn and to find the man who will appreciate it rather than run from it.

Both! They're simple, cheesy yet traditional thus ultimately the most romantic.

4. What is Valentine's Day like when you're single?

It's really a lot like New Year's Eve. Before. There is never a good time to breakup and occasionally there are truly wrong times to but I have tended to breakup before special occasions because inside I feel it is the more honest thing to do. Going through the motions to protect a lover's feelings has always seemed like it would only add to the pain.

The one after I broke up with my fiancé.

1. What puts you in a silly mood?

I can't think of the last time I was in a silly mood. I guess for me silly it that level above being happy and happens when around other people. Now that I've said that, I guess anyone seeing my with Truvy and Tramp would say I'm silly - I do things and they make/allow me to do things that are very silly like voices, faces and playing with toys.

2. What puts you in a creative mood?

Pot. Just kidding. I've never smoked. One of the things in life that I desire most, find sexy and attractive in others and turns my blue eyes green with envy is creativity and imagination. I have a deficit of talent when it comes to music or art but I do seem to have a small flare for writing. I mostly lack original thought but am very good at being inspired and re-imagining that inspiration into my own.

3. What puts you in a competitive mood?

Competition - most easily in sports like tennis or in games but my competitive spirit stems mostly from my Virgo nature (or OCD) for perfection. This also hinders my creativity. I like to do the best I can at what ever I do and this shows in my attention to detail, organizational skills, desire to be better and to win. This also benefits my sexual partners. Not achieving a desired level or success or skill often results in my loss of interest.

4. What puts you in a contemplative mood?

Depression. You just start thinking about everything, over and over and over again. Depression has become the word of choice to describe a bad day and thus most people (lucky them) don't truly have a clue to understanding depression. Depression can range from mild to crippling. Stand in front of a mirror and turn on the hot water. As the mirror fogs it gets harder and harder to see your reflection. The same happens with depression, it distorts your perception, makes the easiest tasks harder, makes trusting friends and family harder and harder and isolation becomes safe. Because everything becomes so hard to do, frustration levels soar and tempers flare. You isolate because instead of seeing your friends and family as being helpful, you can only see how they have hurt or wronged you like eating the last cookie - it's not rational (which we know but can't help), just what happens. Depression makes you think of yourself as worthless - so asking friends and family for help and understanding is not possible - they'd only laugh at you and say no. Isolation makes it easier to hide the depression and unleash/inflict your pain out on those who love and care about you. (Sorry about that.)

5. If you tend to be a quiet person what puts you in a talkative mood? If you tend to be a talkative person, what puts you in a quiet mood?
I'm an introvert (thanks internet flow charts) so I tend to be quiet until I'm put into situations where I must meet people, for work or sex, or I've had a drink or two. Alcohol, two drink limit or else I won't stop, makes me very happy, very talkative, flirty, horny and usually very pleasant to be around.
