NEW NORMAL RENEWED!

NBC has renewed The New Normal! This is great news as each episode has built on the previous one and the character development continues to expand and deepen leaving the first impressions of bad stereotypes far behind. And as adorkable as I have always found Justin Bartha, I finding Andrew Rennell quite pleasant to watch. Press Release below:

NBC, which got a jump on the fall season by launching many of its newcomers early September, just handed out renewal notices to three of those, per reports: "Revolution," "Go On," and "The New Normal." No real surprise here, despite soft-ish numbers for "Normal,"  which has improved creatively (meaning, it's actually gotten funny in places) since launch. "Revolution" popped immediately out of the box, thanks to "The Voice" lead-in, and (probably) the J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke names on the book cover. Finally, "Go On," Good show, or certainly promising one, and Matthew Perry — if you can believe it — has his first full season series pickup since "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (which went 22 episodes before flameout.)
